Everything is starting to come together for this 69 Mach 1 build. Body panels have been replaced and anything that was not replaced has been cleaned to remove surface rust and/or old paint.
Allan was able to get the tail end of the 69 Mach 1 all put back together and most of it is new metal. The trunk lid is now in place and everything lines up the way it should. You can get a good look at how well the new tail light panel fits with the new quarter panels.
After getting the back end of the Mach 1 done anything that had not been replaced got cleaned of surface rust and old paint. Inside the engine compartment all of the unwanted holes used for mounting Lincoln parts were welded over and cleaned up. Then it was sandblasted.
The next thing to do was to get a good coat of sealer on the whole body so Allan wouldn't have to go through all of that again. It does look good all in black doesn't it?
