Allan has always loved the 69 Mustang Mach 1. I believe he has owned a couple of Mustangs in the past. The deal with this 69 Mustang Mach 1 is that the Mustang he picked up is to far gone to be called a restoration project, so I'm calling it the 69 Mustang Mach 1 Build. Here is the reason I say this.
The first reason is that this 69 Mustang Mach 1 will have parts incorporated that are not Mustang. But they will be Ford parts. I guess there really is no other reason. Allan is going to use the subframe, suspension, and floor of a 1989 Lincoln Mark VII. This is a marriage made in the body shop, and to some people that is heaven.
In the Click Gallery to the right the first three pictures are of the Lincoln. It's not a bad looking car. It's in good shape, runs well, drives and rides well. The interior could use a little work, but all-in-all not a bad car. In the last three pictures you will see the condition of the 69 Mustang Mach 1. It's not in very good shape. However, Allan can't just let it waste away.
The next page is dedicated to just how bad this 1969 Mustang Mach 1 was when Allan first seen it.
